Canon DSLR Patent Aims for Touchscreen Technology

Canon aims to press forward its DSLRs by filing a patent application that will revolutionize the Canon experience. The patent cited a new DSLR feature that will focus on Touchscreen technology. This will probably take a couple of years before Technochasers can walkthrough an authentic creation.

Canon DSLR Patent

One evident tight spot on the idea deals on the execution wherein contact between the user’s face and the DSLR’s screen predominantly transpires through the use of the viewfinder. However, Canon will be employing an approach that will counterbalance that dilemma. The DSLR will let your register your dominant eye which will automatically disable the portion of the screen that will likely be touched by your face as you use the viewfinder. Some of the settings that will enable touchscreen controls are the focus detection area, flash adjustment, ISO, white balance, and exposure correction. The aperture and shutter speed can be modified by vertical or horizontal swipes. This will also facilitate ease in editing photos on your camera. Can the DSLR Touchscreen propel the Canon brand?
