Dell CEO Confirms Mini 5 Tablet

Dell will soon propel its own brand of tablet to the market. The Dell Mini 5 Tablet had its first appearance at the CES 2010. Furthermore, the company’s CEO, Michael Dell, made a quick walk through on the product while he was at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

The Dell Mini 5 Tablet sports a 5-inch touchscreen display which will be powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and will run on Android 1.6. It also features WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity plus a 5 megapixel camera. Mr. Dell quoted that the tablet will be coming in a few months though the market should financially brace themselves for it will be priced at approximately US$1000. Technochasers, is it worth the price?
