Mozilla Sets off Mobile Firefox Browser

Mozilla has officially announced the release of their first mobile Firefox browser. The availability of Firefox 1.0 will initially be experienced by the Nokia N900 users on its Maemo platform. With the continuous outbreak of the markets’ fondness towards smartphones, Mozilla is indeed gearing towards a potential market growth.

The Firefox 1.0 promises to bring intensity on mobile experience for being powerful, secured and highly customizable. It supports minimal typing through its intelligent and personalized searching also synchronization of the Firefox desktop to the mobile device. Tabbed browsing is also integrated on the mobile platform and add-ons are also supported. It is the first customizable web browser that can add features like AdBlock Plus, URL Fixer, TwitterBar, language translators, geo guides, YouTube enabler and so forth. Mozilla even quoted that the market can expect more of Firefox for mobiles this year. Technochasers, can Mozilla stir up mobile experience with the Mobile Firefox 1.0?

    Technochasers, can Mozilla stir up mobile experience with the Mobile Firefox 1.0? >> Definitely. I downloaded the final public version last week and I must say that it works pretty fast on my N900. It isn’t perfect yet but I believe that Mozilla is doing all their best to perfect Firefox (fennec) on mobile devices. Next stop for them are 2 more platforms – WinMo, which is currently available for Beta testers and Android. :)
