Droid phones are definitely on the hype these days and Sony Ericsson is one competitive player who doesn’t like taking a back seat. They have intensified the thrill of the market during their previously released XPERIA X2 and they most likely intend to take it to a higher notch by introducing their first Android phone.

Sony Ericsson will likely name it as the XPERIA X3, or the Rachael, and it was cited to run on Android 2.0. It will sport as enormous 4″ WVGA touchscreen display, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 8-megapixel camera, WiFi, and a 3.5mm jack. Other features include a 10Mbps 3G connection and GPS navigation and it brags an 852×480 resolution.
An initial introduction was made by Sony Ericsson through teaser video. The droid phone is coated in white hue as shown in the video. Technochasers may expect more of it on November 3, 2009 as announced by Sony Ericsson. Can Sony Ericsson draw another XPERIA craze with the droid X3?
